Homelessness Prevention Program

We work to find temporary housing for our displaced clients and their families. This housing is often in the form of low cost hotels and apartments.  We also provide resources to help clients find long-term affordable housing.

Youth Programs Scholarship Funding

We seek donations for this fund to help our clients pay for youth program activities. Our client's children benefit when they have productive things to do and many times their family finances won't allow it. Contact us with questions.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 each year to support these programs.

Make checks payable to Women's Bridge Resource Center and mark it for Youth Program Fund. All donations are tax deductible and you will receive a tax receipt from our agency.

Christmas Stocking Project

Clients receive holiday gift cards in mid-December each year. Various organizations, churches and individuals  purchase the gift cards, which are distributed to the clients by the WBRC. Gifts purchased with the cards may be the only ones they receive, so it can make their holidays much brighter.

Back-to-School Backpacks

Two local churches, Norriton Presbyterian Church and Trinity Lutheran Church of Fairview Village,  partner in mid-summer to fill backpacks for the children of our clients before the beginning of the school year.  This project services children in Kindergarten through 12th grade.  In 2020 Covid-19 forced us to modify our approach and we provided gift cards to clients with school-age children so they can purchase their own school supplies.
