ABOUT US

We help women in crisis or transition achieve financial security, find adequate housing, obtain sustainable employment, and gain emotional stability.
Women's Bridge Resource Center (WBRC) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2007 by a group of ten individuals whose passion was to help women and their families in need.
Our Executive Director, Fran Snyder, had already spent 7 years as the director of a church-sponsored food and clothing pantry. Fran wanted to find a more permanent way to help the women she had been assisting over the years and, so, formed the WBRC.
The "Bridge" portion of our name represents our goal of assisting women in moving from feeling lost and helpless to feeling more confident and hopeful.
For ten years, we have provided personalized guidance to those living at or below the poverty level. In 2018 we formed a dedicated Homelessness Prevention Coalition within the WBRC so as to ensure appropriate focus on this important community-wide concern.
We are funded by grants, donations & fund raisers. We do not charge for our services.
To help women in crisis or transition achieve financial security, find adequate housing, obtain sustainable employment and gain emotional stability.
